Forty seven ways to seat the other side of the table: cantilever classics like the Swift and the Vero Airmesh, stacking workhorses like the Polly polypropylene chair sold singly or in bundles of thirty, leather visitor chairs like the Nola and the Mien for the smarter rooms, and the Madrid wooden frame chair for somewhere softer. Whatever the meeting table, there is a chair here that suits it and a budget it fits.
Choosing meeting chairs
Match the chair to the length of the meeting. For half hour catch ups, a simple cantilever like the Swift is ideal: the frame gives a little flex, there is nothing to adjust and nothing to break. For all day training or interviews, look at mesh backed visitor chairs like the Portland, which stay comfortable long after a solid shell has gone numb.
Then think about where the chairs live when the room empties. Stacking chairs like the Polly and the Metro tower onto a trolley and disappear into a cupboard, and the Milan folds flat. Where chairs stay put around a boardroom table, cantilever and four leg frames hold their looks best, and the Moore Deluxe high back gives visitors something close to an executive seat.
Tables and the rest of the room
Chairs are only half the room. Pair them with our boardroom tables, add folding and flip-top tables for training layouts that change weekly, and browse the whole meeting and conference hub, including conference seating for the biggest headcounts.
