Choosing a boardroom table
Start with the wall you cannot move. A table needs roughly 1200mm of clear space behind every seated person for chairs to push back and people to walk past, so measure the room before you fall for a table. The Oslo square tables come with extension kits, which is the sensible answer for a business that expects to grow: buy the 1600mm square now and bolt on more table when the headcount justifies it.
Think about power before the table arrives, not after. The Volta versions of the Oslo, Italia and Impulse tables carry pop up power modules in the tabletop, so laptops and screens plug in at the table instead of trailing leads to the skirting. If you skip built in power, at least plan the route: our cable management section handles the tidy up.
