Reception is the one room every visitor grades, usually within thirty seconds and always before anyone says hello. Getting the reception layout right
Start from the wait, not the furniture. Most visitors sit for five or ten minutes, so a low table within reach of every seat matters more than a grand one in the middle of the room. The Neo round table in black is an easy anchor for a cluster of chairs, and the glass top version keeps a small reception feeling open where a solid table would shrink it. Leave proper walking room between table edges and knees, because receptions get judged on ease as much as looks.
Choose surfaces for the life they will lead. Glass shrugs off cups and wipes clean between visitors, but it shows fingerprints in direct sunlight, so think about where the light falls. Round shapes are kinder in tight spaces and to toddlers, since corners at shin height are nobody's friend.
