Two straightforward products that still earn their keep: the Protect Plus Acrylic Desktop Screen and its matching Screen Topper. They arrived as sneeze guards, but clear acrylic screens have stayed useful long since, marking out shared desks, calming busy counters and letting light through where a fabric panel would close the room down.
Where acrylic screens still make sense
The full Protect Plus screen stands on the desk itself and suits reception counters, customer service desks and anywhere people face each other at close range. The topper version sits on top of an existing screen and raises it, which is the tidy fix when facing desks already have low panels between them and you want more separation without replacing anything. Both are clear acrylic, so they divide the space without dividing the room's light, they wipe down in seconds, and there is so little to assemble that a whole bank of desks can be screened in an afternoon.
Think of them alongside, not instead of, our fabric ranges: desktop screens add pinnable surfaces and colour between facing desks, floor screens break up walkways and waiting areas, and the desktop and acoustic screens range does the same jobs while soaking up noise. Acrylic wins where visibility and hygiene matter; fabric wins where sound does.
Screens in the wider layout
Screens of any kind work best when they are planned with the desks they sit on: the bench systems in bench desks take screens between back to back positions neatly, and the wider acoustics and screens hub covers baffles and tiles for when a whole room needs quieting. A busy front desk pairs naturally with a proper reception counter.
