Crescent and wave desks give you the deep working corner of a corner desk with a softer, curved front edge that is kinder on forearms and easier to roll a chair along. Choosing a crescent desk
Handing first: sit where you will sit and decide whether the deep return falls to your left or right, because it is the one thing you cannot change later. The curve puts your keyboard in the middle and your paperwork or second screen on the wide side, which is why crescents suit people who genuinely spread out: accounts, drawing review, anyone juggling documents and a screen at once.
Leg style is the practical decision. Panel end legs give a solid modesty panel and the simplest build, cantilever legs free up knee room and make cleaning underneath less of a fight, and the cable managed leg carries power and data up through the leg itself, worth having if the desk sits away from a wall. All three take the same tops, so you can mix leg styles across an office without the desks looking different.
What goes with a wave desk
A crescent leaves a pocket of floor beside the return that a mobile pedestal fills perfectly, see pedestals and drawers. A monitor arm makes the most of the deep corner, and desktop screens clip to the straight back edge as usual. If some of the team want to stand, sit-stand desks mix with crescents happily in the same finish.
